Electric Company are Mo Pope, Insight, Anonymous, Radio Raheem, and Dagha. This is their debut album. Itʼs feel good concept is based on the appreciation of life over laid back, classic boom-bap, hip-hop style production. Micheal El, a good friend of Insight, introduced him to Anonymous and Raheem. After sharing an apartment, they recorded “The Late Show” and “Respect Life.” Insight decided to form the group “Electric Company” and added two more members, Mo Pope and Dagha, both good friends of his. The buzz quickly caught attention of Atlantic Records, though negotiations never solidified. Mo Pope, Anonymous, and Raheem went on to form Project Move and all members have solo careers.
